killer surprise

these photos are so grainy, but oh well i love them anyways! i surprised my boyfriend and took him to go see the killers for part of his birthday present last week. it was a blast! they are so great live! and austin was so surprised. i got him real good!! it had been so long since we had gone to a concert together and we had so much fun. i can't wait til our next show! maybe we'll see the mars volta again for the 1000th time. except, i think the last time they toured was in 2009 soooo i don't think we'll see them again anytime soon.

remember when

remember when i wore this headband to cover my bangs for two months? at least it was really cute! also, remember when the place we went to for melissa's birthday was fantastic! downtown fullerton, you are good. good food, good stores, great places for coffee and tea. just good. also, remember when cathee came to church with me and my sister? it made us very happy. especially when we got pieology afterwards.

last tuesday was my mom's birthday. we celebrated her birthday and mine by going to bj's in brea. it was really fun meeting up with my family after school. although, i probably should have been doing homework. but oh well! it's my mom's birthday so whatever! haha. here are some photos from the night:

today is one of my closest friend's birthday. happy 30th birthday ryan! you are allowed to say "oh hey girl" as much as you want today. but only because it's your birthday.

it was my aunt janine's birthday this past week. i love her so stinking much. you have no idea. she's more like a friend/sister to me than an aunt. i am so thankful for her! it was her 32nd birthday ;) maybe... all she wanted to do for her big day was hang out with my family and two other families. and i am in love with these families. they feel like part of my family, not just family friends. i laugh so hard at everything whenever we all get together. oh gosh, it is just so great! i love it! all of our families became friends before any of us kids were born. they all met at our old church, calvary chapel pacific coast. God blessed my parents with awesome friends! and i am so happy that i have gotten to know them over the years as i've grown up. here are some pictures from the birthday night:
